We really are sisters going into business together! After many months of planning and a lot of prayer everything fell into place and we knew it was meant for us to start a fabric shop. Mineral Wells has been without a fabric store for some time now. There were two shops in the area and both closed within months of each other. Then Wal-Mart stopped selling fabric and we knew that there was a need. We have been busy from the first day we opened and are thankful for our loyal customers. Please come in for you sewing needs, alterations or just to look around. We also have some jewelry on consignment, which include the popular bottlecap necklaces that all the young people are wearing. |

Co-owner and creative sister Brenda lives in Mineral Wells and is also employed full time at Palo Pinto General Hospital. She works in the shop in the evenings and on weekends. Brenda has been a seamstress for more than 30 years, sewing everything from wedding and prom dresses to upholstery. Brenda is the alterations person for Creative Sisters Fabric shop. Co-owner and creative sister Christy grew up in Mineral Wells and now lives in Gordon. For the past 25 years she has worked in the business industry as a bookkeeper, from the Mineral Wells ISD to most recently The City of Mingus. Christy is the quilter in the fabric business, she has pieced and quilted for the past 4 years every week with the Pieceful Friends of Gordon, TX. |
